SECURITY SOLUTIONS

To be most efficient and effective, security needs to be implemented in a pervasive manner across the entirety of an organisation. This means that all aspects of how information is handled and communicated need to be considered and protected before the appropriate solution can be specified. i-Sentral uses this holistic approach as the basis of all its projects.

In order to provide this holistic approach with a more formalised structure, we have developed the i-Sentral 6 Core Concepts of Security (6CCS).

The 6CCS provides a structure that describes where security issues could occur and how they can be approached. By focussing on these causes, the breaches as described in the international CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability) format can be nullified. We see this framework as an ideal way in which to describe and deliver holistic security to our customers, therefore we use 6CCS in all of our implementations and consulting services.

As organisations change, their security requirements need to change also. These requirements include relatively minor internal procedural changes as well as more formalised infrastructure alterations. We understand that our customers need help on many of these changes and that the requirements for this help ranges from informal idea sounding to full consultation exercises. As a security partner we expect and encourage our customers to use us for the full extent of this help, from just picking up the phone and discussing issues through to planning projects.

In terms of specific implementations we can deliver a wide range of best of breed solutions. For a core set of these we have built full management platforms supported by a team of fully accredited engineers. By taking advantage of these platforms, our customers are able to increase their confidence in these mission critical applications and appliances, knowing that a team with thousands of hours of experience is at hand to ensure excellent service.

In addition we have a strong track record in those solutions of a more specialised focus. For these solutions we have developed strong relationships with the vendors such that we are able to deliver their products and provide an excellent support package but not directly from one of our management platforms. This arrangement means that our customers have a much wider range of solutions to benefit from in conjunction with i-Sentral’s proven flexible and holistic support approach.
